Cory-Bell
Mr. Cory Bell, P.Eng.
President

Cory Bell is President and Co-Owner of Lindsay Construction. After graduating from Dalhousie University and TUNS with degrees in Science and Civil Engineering, he joined Lindsay as a Site Engineer in 1999 and worked his way up through the organization.

In the Fall of 2009, Cory assumed the role of President with Lindsay Construction. Being the company’s 5th President, he has brought a broad-minded approach to this role and embodies the core values, business ethics, and technical capabilities required to lead one of Atlantic Canada’s largest contracting firms.

Cory’s diversity in addition to solid leadership skills, positive thinking, analytical reasoning, commitment to excellence, strong family values, and ability to lead-by-example enables him to guide the organization to new horizons while maintaining corporate values instilled by his predecessors.

During Cory’s tenure, Lindsay has become the premier general contracting company in Atlantic Canada. This was evident when Lindsay was one of only three Atlantic Canadian companies to be selected as one of Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies in 2014.

In addition to his business activities, Cory is very active in the community and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the IWK Foundation. In 2014 he co-founded Trailblazer for Cancer which is an annual event that raises funds and awareness for cancer. As a result of his business leadership and philanthropy, Cory was recognized by Atlantic Business Magazine as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 50 CEO’s in 2014 and 2015.

Devin-Hartnell
Mr. Devin Hartnell, P.Eng., MBA
Vice President, Operations

As Vice President, Operations for Lindsay Construction, Devin is keenly involved in mentoring staff and overseeing operational growth and development.

Devin graduated with his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Michigan Technological University followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s University.

As  a current Owner and Director with Lindsay Construction, Devin has also fulfilled the role of Project Manager.

Directing a large number of Lindsay’s prominent projects, Devin possesses expertise in all building types and has completed projects for such clients as Cougar Helicopters, Halifax Water Commission, Air Jazz, I.M.P. Group, and Banc Developments.

The combination of education and hands-on project experience gives Devin the ability to provide business advice and building oversight to Lindsay clients.

Jeff-Skinner
Mr. Jeff Skinner, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

A member of the Senior Management Team, Jeff brings leadership and guidance to strategic planning, financial management, and the implementation of management information systems.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University and earned the designation of Chartered Accountant while working with Deloitte in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He possesses 20+ years of experience in senior finance roles with prominent companies throughout Nova Scotia.

Throughout his career, Jeff has held various finance roles within the Atlantic Corporation Group of Companies.  He has also served as Vice President of Finance for The Chronicle Herald and the Dennis Family, and was Senior Vice President of Finance for Clarke Inc.’s transportation holdings.
