Vantage Volkswagen

(Truro, Nova Scotia)

This Tilt-Up Concrete dealership makes the most of its prominent location with a bright, sleek, exterior that is highly visible from the Trans Canada Highway.

For Owner/Manager, Derek Lugar, it wasn't all about looks. Not only did the 11,000 sq. ft. single-storey facility have to conform to the Volkswagen Image Program and budget, Lugar wanted a building that would be both environmentally friendly and energy efficient, both in construction and design.

Tilt-Up is renowed for its insulating properties, further complimented by this facility's geo-thermal heating system that includes water to water ground source heat pumps. Natural light in the service bays reduces energy consumption amd boosts morale and productivity.

"We are really happy with the new building," Lugar says. "We fought winter conditions hard but it met our expectations. I have to tip my hat to Lindsay and their Site Superintendent - they really know what they're doing."

Moncton Honda

Lindsay continues to build upon its relationship with Honda, and many other automobile dealerships, with this June of 2006 constructed dealership in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Owners John and Dawne Brushett were impressed with the Lindsay-built Portland Street Honda in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and upon meeting with Lindsay decided Tilt-Up Concrete would suit their requirements perfectly.

The durability and heat efficiency is complimented by an aesthetically pleasing exterior which is very important in such a prominent location on Main Street.

"Lindsay provided invaluable assistance both with the design and construction phases," Brushett comments. "Their people are very good to work with and I would definitely recommend them to others." We worked closely with the owners to achieve an efficient and comfortable atmosphere in the 22, 528 sq. ft., 2-storey facility where customers and staff feel at home.

Portland Street Honda

In September of 2003, Lindsay's Construction Management and Design-Build team worked incredibly hard to deliver this 37,000 sq. ft. facility to Portland Street Honda on Baker Drive.

The practical and extremely attractive building is one of the best examples of how Tilt-Up Concrete can enhance the appearance of a building. Honda has been very pleased with the results.

Lindsay's design team incorporated Honda's (then recent) image program requirements into a striking facility with a consistent, uniform image reflecting a very modern, attractive, and effective automotive facility.

The Lindsay Management Team was responsible for putting the construction package in place.

With an inviting combination of comfort and convenience this facility makes the Honda vehicle purchase and ownership experience pleasant and rewarding.
