Marriott Harbourfront - Renovations Lindsay completed the first phase of Marriott Harbourfront renovations, entailing a complete makeover to 186 guest rooms and corridors on three floors, and were then awarded phase 2 shortly thereafter to complete the remaining number of rooms. The re-design merged both the contemporary, bright, and colourful Marriott corporate standards and regional influences from the Nova Scotia coast. Several local artists were included in the décor including OceanArt Pewtar door pulls in the washrooms and photography by Shaun Lowe on the walls. |

Westin Nova Scotian Hotel - Renovations The historic Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in South End Halifax has undergone a complete transformation. As General Contractor, Lindsay began the cosmetic overhaul of the Westin's 311 guestrooms (including 15 suites), ending in May of 2008. With the renovation of the first group of 50 rooms completed, Guido Kerpel (General Manager of the Westin Nova Scotian) was enthusiastic over the results. "We are very pleased to partner with Lindsay on this most important project. It is critical to our success and the level of professionalism and experience Lindsay offers made them the perfect choice." The project scope included replacement of ceilings, carpets, wall coverings, and modernization of washrooms in the guestrooms. The clean, modern design is carried through into the corridors on all 10 guestroom floors, with complimenting carpets, art, wall coverings, lights, and furnishings. |
