Metro Self Storage (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia) This 30,000 sq. ft., 2-storey component metal building was subject to some unusually stringent municipal by-laws governing this part of the City. This affected everything from set-back requirements to architectural features including wall and roof lines. "The bylaws were definitely an issue," says Bruce Shannon, General Manager of Metro Self Storage. "But Lindsay Construction made sure everyone was happy down at the City." Lindsay teams worked through the winter to complete the facility which includes offices, reception area, sales, and service rooms on the ground floor with drive-up stroage lockers. The second floor houses interior lockers with climate control for heating, cooling, and dehumidication. Shannon continues, "I'm happy with everything that we did. Lindsay's Site Superintendent was very accommodating and deserves a lot of credit. We're happy enough that we gave Lindsay two more jobs in St. John's, Newfoundland."

Premiere Self Storage (Chester, Nova Scotia) The Chester facility for Premiere Self Storage involved renovating an existing 31,000 sq. ft. metal building to encompass a variety of rental space under one roof. A large reception area paves the way to rental options including commercial office space, a boat storage area, and apartment. Dan MacLean, President and Operating Partner of Premiere, comments "Taking an old building and converting it to something new takes special expertise that Lindsay provided. Everything was done in a timely manner and the result is fabulous."
