Lindsay completed the first phase of Marriott Harbourfront renovations, entailing a complete makeover to 186 guest rooms and corridors on three floors, and were then awarded phase 2 shortly thereafter to complete the remaining number of rooms.

The re-design merged both the contemporary, bright, and colourful Marriott corporate standards and regional influences from the Nova Scotia coast. Several local artists were included in the décor including OceanArt Pewtar door pulls in the washrooms and photography by Shaun Lowe on the walls.

The buzz of activity continues at the site of Dartmouth Crossing, the high profile shopping development described by North American Development Group as "the ultimate shopping destination."

Located off Highway 118 in Dartmouth, the project integrates big box stores with neighbourhood style boutique shops for local specialty retailers, complimented by amenities such as movie theatres, restaurants, and hotel.

The Lindsay team erected Building 1-D at 80,000 sq. ft. and Building 1-E at 48,000 sq. ft. via conventional steel with brick and masonry exterior cladding. Housing familiar names including Staples, Linens N Things, Michaels, SportChek, and several others, these two buildings were constructed using traditional steel frame with flat room, exterior brick with stone accents, which keep with the upscale neigborhood village theme.

Construction was finished in March of 2007, with Lindsay completing tenant upfits for Staples and Linens N Things shortly thereafter.

The historic Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in South End Halifax has undergone a complete transformation.

As General Contractor, Lindsay began the cosmetic overhaul of the Westin's 311 guestrooms (including 15 suites), ending in May of 2008.

With the renovation of the first group of 50 rooms completed, Guido Kerpel (General Manager of the Westin Nova Scotian) was enthusiastic over the results. The project scope included replacement of ceilings, carpets, wall coverings, and modernization of washrooms in the guestrooms. The clean, modern design is carried through into the corridors on all 10 guestroom floors, with complimenting carpets, art, wall coverings, lights, and furnishings.
