Cendant Car Rental (Avis & Budget) With the successful completion of their facility near the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, Cendant Car Rental Group became a true believer in the Royal Building System. The durability, insulating qualities, ease of care, and waterproof finish of RBS makes it an excellent choice for this type of building which houses maintenance and detail bays, touchless car wash, office space, and a fueling island. Owner and operator of Avis and Budget Car Rental brands worldwide, Cendant has plans to use the RBS system for future projects, starting with a new service facility in Calgary. This system of rigid polymer panels, which interconnect and serve as permanent formwork for concrete walls can be non-load bearing (used as cladding on a steel frame) or can be used as a load-bearing system. "Lindsay helped steer us through this project on time and on budget," says Area Manager Robert Putnam. "We were in good hands." |

The Cat Shack When father and son business partners, Peter and Chris Nelson, first saw RBS used for a dairy farm in their area, they recognized its potential for their own building requirements: an Arctic Cat dealership in East Hants Industrial Park. Lindsay was able to provide the materials and expertise to the Nelson's general contractor to erect the 7,200 sq. ft. building. The rectangular RBS building with wood frame pitched roof was completed in mid-October. Lindsay is happy to provide materials and expertise to contractors in situations like this which promotes the RBS product to a market we might otherwise be unable to reach. |

Atlantic Dressage Atlantic Dressage Development Centre is a state-of-the art equestrian center. The product included an 80' x 235' riding arena which has seating for 200 and was constructed using the CorrSpan "frameless" building system. Connected to the riding arena is a new, 54-stall horse barn, constructed of Royal Building System (RBS) walls and a timber framed roof. The use of Corr-Span for the riding arena provides a column and beam free interior that is perfect for arena use - and the RBS panels used for the horse barn provided a durable, clean, and bright environment for the stables. |
